Annelise Cepero

Annelise, a born and raised New Yorker, has been in love with the performing arts since a very young age.  At five years old Annelise would run around the house and sing at the top of her lungs. Laughing, her Abuela would say, "Niña, tu vas a ser una cantante un día de estos!" (Child, you are going to be a singer someday!) Ever since, Annelise worked hard to become a performer and an artist. The stage has truly become her home and creating art is now a passion.

She started her training in the arts performing throughout middle school and high school. Annelise took private lessons in voice and took classes in jazz and ballet while in school. She participated in many musicals during the summers leading up to college in programs such as Wingspan Arts Conservatory and UARTS Summer Conservatory. In 2013 Annelise began her training at Montclair State University and will be graduating in May of 2017 with a BFA in Musical Theatre.

Some favorite credits include “Narrator” in Cardinal Stage Company’s Murder Ballad, “Liat” in the production of South Pacific at the Ivoryton Playhouse, and “Jasmine” in Beehive: The 60s Musical at the Arundel Barn Playhouse.

Annelise is so excited join the Bloc family! She can’t wait to start this new chapter of her life and see what adventures await her.
